亲爱的同学，如果有很好的学校把你放在了waitlist，先不要苦恼，
你有几件事情可以做，比如：
首先感谢学校审理的辛苦！
给学校发封邮件，要求到场面试或者Skype面试；
后来出的新成绩或做的一些比较好的事可以写一写，比如：
最近做了什么课题，去哪实习了，或者哪科哪科成绩出来了，成绩很好什么的，或者后来又考了新的G或T的成绩等等！
以下是一个非常好的例子，可以借鉴一下~

Just as I have mentioned in my PS, I took many MOOC classes in the past three years. In order to further strengthen my quantitative background, I have signed up for non-degree study at SUNY OPEN, an online education platform of SUNY system that offers online and in-person credit-bearing courses. I plan to take classes of Calculus III, Linear Algebra, and Statistics during the summer term from May to July. I will earn 12 undergraduate credits if I pass all of them. While I already passed those classes on MOOC platforms, I believe taking them again in a more rigid style definitely puts me in better preparation for an MS program.
With these updates being said, I am wondering if I may have a chance to get an in-person or Skype interview with you by which you can know me more than just by paperwork. I live in NYC, and I am happy to pay a visit to your beautiful campus. Of course, if you feel that a visit is not any convenient for you, I also appreciate much for a Skype meeting with some of you.
I sincerely hope that I could get the rare opportunity to attend this dreaming program, and I am really looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much!
