切斯特大学(University of Chester)，简称"UoC"，以优化国际学生体验著名。在 2020 年 WhatUni 学生选择奖的评选中，切斯特大学的国际学生体验获评英格兰第1名、全英第2名 。除此之外，学校在工作前景、当地生活、学生支持等方面也都荣获了全英前10的优秀评价 。大学创建于1839年，是英国最古老的综合性公立大学之一，起初是英国国教会为培养教师人才创办的教育机构，是英国第一所师范类高等学府。学校位于英格兰西北部小巧而美丽的罗马古城切斯特(柴郡首府)，距离利物浦和曼彻斯特四十分钟的车程。学校共有七个校区，分布在切斯特及周边地区。

切斯特大学是英国大学集团、英国教会大学集团、西北大学组织的成员，拥有英国西北部第1、全英第4的专业认证教师比例(Higher Education Funding Council for England)，毕业学生的就业率高达95.6%，属英国西北地区最 高(2017年高校毕业生就业去向DLHE调查)。 在2018年海外学生调查中还被英国文化协会(British Council)评为英国Top10的高校。切斯特大学商学院于2018年荣获年度英国最 佳商学院奖项(Educate North Award 2018)，商学院综合实力排名全英第21位(英国特许商学院协会)。
