文书在申请中起着至关重要的作用。那么，在撰写时有哪几点是需要注意的呢？以下是新东方上海前途出国留学整理的资料供大家参考。 

 

1.    First understand the question, make sure you correctly response to the question 

充分理解问题，切忌文不对题。 

  

2.    Please proofread and do not copy 

请反复检查你要递交的文书内容，不要复制粘贴同一段文书给不同的学校。文书应该基于不同的学校特点来表达。 

  

3.    Depth, persuasive, descriptive 

要有深度，有说服力，要描述细节。 

  

4.    Help the AO to connect to you 

让招生官能从文书中看到你，看到你和别人不一样的地方。 

  

5.    Who you are and what is your passion. Pick whatever is important to you. 

表达你的激情所在，你最爱的事情，对你最重要的事情。 

Example: How much you love your cat. 

  

  

6.    It is not silly to be clear. Be simplest, easy to understand. 

最简洁，最容易理解的方式来行文。 

  

7.    Not everything need to be serious/academic, it can be fun. 

文书并不要求写学术方面或校内成绩，可以是平时的玩乐和爱好。 

  

8.    Think outside of the box. 

打破常规。 

Example: Helping others is not only community service, could be telling jokes that make others laugh.
