波士顿大学做了大调整,取消了之前的Master of Administration Studies大类硕士,然后分成了很多个具体的硕士专业,比如说这个Global Marketing Management。
波士顿大学的商科硕士也跟哥大和NYU一样开在继续教育学校,不过他们很聪明把学院的名字叫做Metropolitan College,也就是大都会学院,外人不会想到是继续教育学院。因为要照顾part time学员,所以课程都是晚上和周末上,项目长度是2年,有足够的时间接触当地的风土人情了。跟罗村不同,虽然说建议的分数是100/700,但实际上录取要求还可以更低些,90+/600多分也可以有机会申请到的。对于本身成绩不算很突出的同学来说是个不错的选择。

You’ll learn to gather and analyze data using such research methods as surveys and focus groups, and other research strategies and you’ll master the art and science of translating data analyses into communication plans clients can put into action.

Upon completion you’ll be well prepared and qualified for a position as a research analyst or research manager in a marketing research company or the research department of firms specializing in advertising, public relations, marketing communication research, political campaigning, health communication and international communication.

基于UT Austin在计算机方面的优势,它的市场项目也偏重于分析,UT Austin的市场项目国际生比例也只有13%,也就是说32个人里面只有4、5个国际学生,可见它的申请难度是怎么样了。

德州农机也是绝对的好大学,它的Marketing也是绝对好的项目,但是国际学生限额比较严重,托福水涨船高到110+,难度来说绝对比罗切斯特高一个等级,牛人可以尝试。
德州农机与德州业界有紧密的互动,系里面也很重视硕士项目,包括美国市场协会的前全国主席也都参与教学工作,老师们也会组织各企业CEO或者mkt executive来做guest speaker。基本所有学生都有ta, ra, ga的机会,也就是免去学费再提供一定的生活费(国际学生要从第二个学期开始才有,第一个学期是缴纳州内学费)。总花费15万以下没有问题。但项目比较general, 不能给你focused trainings, 自由选课机会很少。
