英国边境管理局-UKBA(专门负责移民和签证的英国政府部门)针对在英国读语言、预科、学院、大学课程的留学生出台了最新的出勤率条例

　　UKBA要求学生的出勤率达到100%，除非提供可接受的缺勤原因，例如医生的证明信。

　　UKBA规定学校必须对缺勤超过10天，或者时常翘课，或者出现其它违规情况的学生进行上报。一旦学生名字被上报给UKBA，学生的签证会被立即取消或者在下次续签时遭到拒绝。

　　根据UKBA的出勤率条例，索学网老师教大家如何保证自己的出勤率。

如果生病了	要早上打电话给学校向校方请假。如果病假超过4天，需要提供医生证明信。
如果有很重要的约会（例如大使馆或者工作面试）	要先得到学校辅导员或者指导员的许可，并且要出示证明信。
如果有很严重的个人事情（例如家人病重或要参加家人葬礼）	去见学校辅导员或者指导员，如果人正在国内要打电话给他们，他们会告诉你要如何去做。

其他严重的原因导致缺席	先打电话通知学校询问该如何去做

　　总之，每次缺席课程必须得到学校的同意，并且要有相关的证明信。如果不符合的话，将被上报给UKBA或者被学校开除。

　　Attendance Warning Procedure

　　If you have permission to be absent and bring a letter you won’t receive any warnings.

　　If you are absent without permission and a letter:

If your attendance falls below 80% (without permission and a letter)	Verbal Warning. Your Tutor or Director of studies will talk to you. We will keep a record of it.
If your attendance is not over 80% since you had a verbal warning OR you miss 5 days in a row (without permission and a letter)	1st Written Warning We will give you a formal letter and also send this to your agent and parents.
If your attendance is not over 80% since you had a 1st Written Warning OR you miss 5 more days in a row (without permission and a letter)	2nd Written Warning We will give you a formal letter and also send this to your agent and parents. This is your last chance to improve.
If you miss 10 days in a row (without permission and a letter)	BORDER AGENCY LETTER. We have to send a letter to the Border Agency. This is the law in the UK. We will also inform your agent and parents.
Final warning – we will talk to you and explain this is your last chance to improve. You must have 100% attendance or you will be expelled from school.
If you have any further absences	You will be expelled from school. We will immediately inform the UK Border Agency and your parent or sponsor. If you have a student visa you will have to leave the country immediately.
