加拿大本科的申请文书要求-新东方前途出国

如今，大多数加拿大大学对于申请者采取更为全面、综合的考察方式。除了一贯以来看重的GPA、语言成绩、高考会考成绩之外，诸多加拿大牛校还会了解、审核与学生相关的所有信息。这些信息包括学生的获奖情况、课外活动经历、以及面试与  等等。以这样的方式，招生官可以对学生的软实力和硬实力建立起一个全面的认识，以来判断学生是否是学校所期待的人。

而说到面试与  这个方面，通过面试与  校方可以考察、了解学生的思维模式、领 导力、团队合作、逆商、对社区团体的贡献等等方面。以加拿大本科申请为例，商科、工程专业在申请过程中往往存在额外的视频面试以及  要求。而类如计算机工程、音乐等专业，也是有可能存在  的要求的。

  的呈现形式来说，主要是两种。一种是出现在附加申请中的  题目，这一类型题目的写作与修改并无时间限制，篇幅或以字符计，或以字数计。如滑铁卢大学Amission Information Form中第一题，限制为900字符，大约150词上下：

Please tell us about your eucational goals, your interest in your chosen program(s), an your reasons for applying to the University of Waterloo. If you have applie to more than one program, please iscuss your interest in each program. (900-character limit)

又如多伦多大学计算机科学  题目，为回答四个题目，每个题目有120字的字数限制。试举其中一问为例：

Briefly escribe a personal goal you have set for yourself, an how long you have been working to achieve this goal. Who i you turn to for avice or help, an what was their role? What i you learn about yourself? (Your answer may be no longer than 120 wors)

而  另外的一种呈现形式是：  题目会于在线面试的过程中出现，除了存在字数限制之外，还会有时间限制。如多伦多大学商科申请中的这个问题：

Please list two activities which you spent a significant amount of time on outsie of class. Focus on activities from the last 4 years – they can be any kin of pursuit, incluing sports, clubs, employment, volunteer activities, research activities, or hobbies. For each activity, provie the following information: (1) briefly escribe what you i, (2) state how long you were involve in the activity (in months or years), (3) if applicable, list any achievements, awars, leaership positions, etc. that you consier noteworthy. Use approximately 75 wors for each activity (150 wors total). You will have 20 minutes to respon to this question.

可见这种面试过程中出现的  题目来者不善。在20分钟的限定时间与150字的限定字数中要回答两到三个小问题，这对于学生面试前的准备工作无疑是有很高的要求的。
